In the first training of its kind by intercultures for Lufthansa Technik, Fetlework Seifu and Nike Gärtner prepared aviation specialists for working and cooperating with partners and customers in intrinsically diverse sub-Saharan Africa. The workshop introduced some of the common challenges created by the contrasts and extremes of an otherwise ethnically and geographically diverse region while giving participants the opportunity to learn more about specific countries, and stimulating them to reflect on the perceptions driving certain assumptions. Additional workshops will be conducted for specialists working with Chinese, Arab, Latin American and Russian partners and customers.
