December 2013 – Even the tornado, “Ksawery,” did not pose an obstacle when intercultures associates planned to meet and share their knowledge and experience this month. On Friday, December 6th the Wrocław headquarters of intercultures CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) had the honor of receiving Dr. Marcus Hildebrandt, Head of Virtual Performance Improvement. Despite the bad weather conditions, Marcus was able to arrive on time to visit the new Wrocław headquarters and, more importantly, to present the latest intercultures product: The Feedback Profiler.
Create Your Feedback Culture
The Feedback Profiler is an online assessment tool that facilitates the analysis of feedback preferences for individuals, tandems, small or large group constellations—even organizations—helping to create a universal feedback culture within teams, groups or networks. The tool is user-friendly and takes about 5 minutes to fill out. Its results make potential next steps visible in a very easily understood and attractive visualization. With it you can help improve feedback practices in giving and receiving; calculate critical gaps; design coaching processes, team interventions or organizational change measures in a wide range of settings.
Developing the Feedback Profiler
In 2011, intercultures started researching international feedback practices. Data available to date already allow for the diagnoses of fundamental, underlying patterns and structures that have led to the development of the Feedback Profiler. Research is ongoing; in the upcoming months, explorations will be made about the ideal feedback practices, and the related realities in Polish organizations, among other countries.
A Unique Opportunity
The participants of the Feedback Profiler presentation—including intercultural trainers and coaches—had a unique opportunity to talk about this new tool with its creator, and also to experience the tool and define their own feedback style and preferences. Marcus’ presentation resulted in an interesting discussion that continued during lunch, which was accompanied by mulled wine in the spirit of the December holiday season.
